Founded by Skimbo Turnbull over 35 years ago, Talice Security started out as a one-man band as the bouncer of a bar. From there, Skimbo grew Talice into the go to local Central Australian security company.
Today, Talice Security has been passed down to Skimbo’s son Tom. Still 100% locally owned and operated, Talice Security has grown to over 160 security staff making it one of the largest security companies in the Northern Territory.

Youth Crime Initiative
Youth crime and anti-social behaviour are big issues facing the Northern Territory. We have been working hard behind the scenes to equip our security teams with the best tools and methods to aid our team when facing these issues. Talice Security has built close relationships with police and youth services to aid in tackling youth crime in the Territory. Together, we are able to build strong training programs that ensure our team knows the best way to approach youth crime in order to deal with it professionally, while keeping your assets safe.
Indigenous Liaison Officers
Indigenous Australians have a wide and rich culture that sits in lock step with the land we live on. It is vital that we respect their culture and work with them in all we do. As Northern Territory locals we have developed great connections with the local Aboriginal communities and even speak bits of their language.
This deep respect for Indigenous culture has led us to work closely with Indigenous liaison officers to train our security guards. The liaison officers are also trained up to be security personnel as well. This ensures each member of our team knows how to speak to people, what to do, what not to do, and how to ensure Indigenous culture is always respected.
